A year of support, development, and mentoring

Stepping into the consulting world can be daunting, especially when you’re new to the field. That’s why we’ve established our one-year-long Young Professional Program. During this year, every new consultant is not only introduced to the company’s culture and working methods but also has a profound opportunity for personal and professional growth.
At the heart of the program is the ‘buddy’ system. Here, the new consultant is paired with an experienced colleague who acts as a mentor. This ‘buddy’ is their guide in everything from in-depth professional immersion to the first client visits and task assignments. Beyond being a source of knowledge, this mentor is also a sparring partner in everyday challenges, creating a safe environment for dialogue, queries, and reflection.
The ‘buddy’ system ensures that the new consultant not only receives professional guidance but also practical experience through direct client interactions and project work. The goal is that by the end of the year, the young consultant is equipped professionally, mentally, and socially, ready to continue their journey in the consulting industry with confidence. We believe that the fastest way to learn is through practical work with real tasks from the customer.
A meeting point across bridges
What’s unique about our Young Professional Community is the monthly meetings where all our young consultants – from both Jylland and Sjælland – gather. Whether attending in person or joining virtually, these meetings play a pivotal role in fortifying the bonds and enhancing the network among consultants. Our monthly gatherings aren’t just ordinary team meetings. They include:
- Introduction: A hassle-free zone where everyone introduces themselves and shares their status.
- ServiceNow tips and tricks: Valuable insights into ServiceNow are exchanged for continuous learning.
- Lunch out: Because who can resist a burger and some quality time with colleagues?
- Young Professional Monopoly: Our very own debate club with a twist. Here, classic dilemmas in the consulting world are challenged and discussed.
- Talks from the experienced: Golden moments when veterans share their precious experiences and insights.
After a year in the program, each consultant is given the opportunity to reflect and share their experiences from their first year – both the positives and the challenges. This session allows them to offer insights into the hurdles faced, the milestones achieved, and the lessons learned. Moreover, this occasion provides them a platform to pass on their best piece of advice to the consultants who are still making their way through the program. It’s a tradition that not only fosters a sense of continuity but also strengthens the bonds of our community, as each generation learns from the one before.
